The rooms at the hotel are clean and very comfortable, although they could have been cleaned more thoroughly, especially the items and necessities. The location is great for various outdoor activities and cultural exploration, while being above a village pub may be noisy for some. The service was very helpful and welcoming, although interruptions by staff knocking on doors may be a minor inconvenience. The dining experience is traditionally Scottish and of a great standard, with a cafe on-site and seasonal dishes available. Overall, a nice hotel with some noise considerations but offers good value for the money.

For only £38 including breakfast, I found the hotel to be a great value. The rooms, though slightly small and not very accessible, were clean, and I was warmly welcomed in the bar area for drinks and dinner by both staff and locals. The central location was perfect for a stopover, and the nearby tea room owned by Lisa offered a delightful breakfast with a view of the park.

The hotel offers great value for money with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Although the cleanliness of the evening meal area could be better, the inclusive breakfast at £38 is a good deal.
